Lifting heavy load

Overview

The holostech VR simulator allows the user to learn the general steps and risks involved in a load lifting activity, as well as to experience an accident as a result of inadequate planning of the activity and incorrect selection of critical safety controls.

Learning outcomes

• Exposure to occupational safety risks associated with the activity
• Selection of control measures (critical controls) to prevent accidents and incidents
• Identification of safe and unsafe areas by observation
• Living the consequences of poor decision making (2 different accidents)
